Wowtac A3: A Photographer's EDC Flashlight
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.6 лет назад
The Wowtac A3 is a zoomable flashlight that either projects a flood of light that is great for night photography or a spot of light for highlighting a certain person place or thing. This light would probably appeal to the photographer or someone who wants an unique EDC light. However, it is not recommended to those looking for a "tactical" or camping/hiking flashlight. HHA LFK-05 Stress Test and Review
Просмотров 7 тыс.6 лет назад
The HHA LFK-05 (i.e., the modified drop-point fixed-blade in the LFK line-up), in my opinion, is the best small tactical fixed-blade knife you can find for under $200. Three attributes make it stand out from the rest: 1) ease of carry; 2) superior ergonomics; 3) unparalleled durability. It is a small but robust tactical knife that feels great in hand and is practically bombproof. Therefore, if ...
Dry Tinder Material You Can Find Almost Anywhere! (Honeysuckle Bark)
Просмотров 8186 лет назад
When you make a primitive fire, you need the proper tinder material for your ember. One source of tinder that is fairly plentiful throughout the US is taken from the honeysuckle plant (specifically, the Japanese honeysuckle). The dry outer bark of this vine can be harvested any season of the year by simply peeling the bark from the plant. Once processed slightly, this tinder material takes a sp...

This is my review of the Thorfire TG06S, a great *budget* EDC/tactical flashlight. The emphasis here is on "budget." It is a solid, no-flair flashlight that, although a bit boring, will do its job by giving you up to 500 lumens even after being abused...and all this for under $20! So, if you are interested in a reliable, cheap torch to light up your world, follow the link below to Amazon.com an...

Testing Hoffner Knives' 440C Blade Steel (Edge Retention)
Просмотров 4,1 тыс.7 лет назад
Some people are put off by companies using 440C in their knives, primarily because they have seen 440A and 440B (both usually called "440") perform poorly. But as will be shown in this video, 440C, if hardened and tempered like Hoffner Knives does it, can perform like many other high grade stainless steels on the market today. If you liked this video, give it a "like" and share it with your fri...
Atactical A1S: "A great flashlight, but..."
Просмотров 11 тыс.7 лет назад
Hey, RUclips friends! This is my review of the Atactical A1S, the upgrade version of the A1. Aside from the strike bezel on the A1S, the A1 and the A1S are the same flashlight externally. The major differences between the two models are the increase in lumens and battery capacity with the A1S. In spite of these upgrades, though, I still prefer the A1; the upgrades are not substantial enough to ...

So I have an open field that's full of them right now. I think they are all cat's ear because the stems fork. I'm here to ask if dandelions can be found with cat's ear because I do see single stems too?

I can never remember quite how to tie the snake knot since it's only once every couple of years. I searched through several videos because I can recognize the "right" way and yours was the first one that was concise and right. Great explanation. Got a nice tight knot just how I wanted.

Honestly using super glue works amazing to secure knots... It bonds really well and becomes super strong material that can never open up...i think the glue and paracord react together forming reinforced polymer

If your khukuri is "very heavy," then you bought the wrong one! Instead of an American-influenced 2+ lb boat anchor, that size of a khuk for outdoor use should be 20-24 ozs or so. You don't need an Angkhola with a half inch spine! 10 yr old video, but I had to say that.

I bought one of these as a father’s day gift at Target around 2005 for my dad, it’s lived in gloveboxes of each of his cars ever since. The otf drew me to buy it, looking back, I should have opted for a different Multitool but it has sentimental value for him.

But I feel like I’ve been throwing out a great source of greens which are hard to find fresh in AZ. I’ll definitely save the flowers and eat/ utilize them when they do flower. Thank you again for this vital information which I personally needed to utilize this health green. I’ll cook them because they do feel/hairy almost spikey if that’s a word? . .
